About Ludhiana

History says, Ludhiana was found in 1480, which is a city of Indian state Punjab. Ruled by the Lodhi dynasty of Delhi Sultanate, it was a village by the name ‘Mir Hota’ in the early centuries. The village’s name was original ‘Lodhi-ana’, which means ‘Lodhi town’. There is a story that when the emperor Nihand Khan crossed the river Sutlej, he established Sultanpur.
Ludhiana is centrally located approximately 100 kilometers west of Chandigarh, the State’s capital on NH 44, NH 5, which connects it with the other Punjab cities. Very well connected with the roads, Ludhiana is a famous city to travel from various parts of India. The sorted city transportation makes it convenient to commute in it.
